On a Captain-Only charter, you have exclusive use of the yacht and water toys and your captain will have full command of all aspects of getting you around to those delightfully secluded anchorages. The charter rate includes the yacht and captain (no chef) and you are responsible for the cooking (both for you and the captain) and cleaning as well as all operating costs such as provisions (both for you and the captain), fuel and water. This gives you total control over the amount you want to spend on the things that matter most to you.
You may decide to eat all your meals ashore or spend the night in a marina. The choice and costs are yours. This chartering option can be the most economical way to experience the beauty of our clear blue waters and white sandy beaches as a hands-on (you cook), team spirited holiday.
Some yachts offer variations on the typical Captain-Only charter and the details will be thoroughly discussed prior to booking.
Please note that some of these fine yachts also offer the standard fully crewed, all-inclusive charters.
Rapscallion, a 45 ‘ Lagoon (2018), offers three large Double berths each with private ensuite baths including electric heads, vanity and separate showers. She boasts multiple areas for all 6 guests to sit and relax or sip a cocktail and enjoy the cool trade winds of the beautiful Virgin Islands! Furthermore, the salon has more than enough space for all guests to be comfortable for lounging or dining. The exterior aft deck also offers alfresco dining for 6 guests, top deck seating and a lounge area in front of the helm plus a forward lower deck lounge area behind trampolines. It is possible to add an onboard Chef for an extra $1,000 per day. This will include a chef, food, fuel, mooring ball costs and BVI fees (yacht is currently completing paperwork to become BVI compliant).
Guiding Light, a Lagoon 41, has three Queen cabins two of which have ensuite heads and showers. The port cabins share a large head with separate shower stall. Offering a variation on the typical captain only charter, Captain Shane will cook three meals during the course of the week and provision (at guest’s expense and per their Preference Sheet) in advance to save charter time. He also makes the most tantalizingly fresh baked bread!
